This page contains my internship paper written in Spanish based on my experience as an intern at HLA Clínica Santa Isabel in Sevilla, Spain. In addition to my firsthand accounts of specific shadowing experiences, my paper also includes a literature review regarding the role that the Spanish healthcare system has on early breast cancer detection and treatment.

During my time interning at Clínica Santa Isabel, I had the opportunity to shadow a talented team of health providers including nurses, physicians, and surgeons. I rotated through a variety of units such as surgery, curas, and general hospitalizations. This experience taught me the importance of communication, compassion, and teamwork, especially in a healthcare setting.
